Bayou Blue
1043 Bayou Blue is a synthetic hydraulic oil with exceptional thermal stability characteristics. Available in 32, 46 and 68 grades, 1043 Bayou Blue offers excellent corrosion resistance and temperature/viscosity characteristcs. This biodegradable hydraulic oil is suitable for operating at a temperature range of 15°F to 300°F (-9°C to 148°C). 1043 Bayou Blue is compatible with typical hydraulic seal materials and is fully miscible with conventional petroleum based oils; however, mixing 1043 Bayou Blue with petroleum oils will reduce its biodegradability. Although 1043 Bayou Blue will separate water and filter well when wet, moisture contamination should be avoided in service to minimize unintended biodegradation. 1043 Bayou Blue exceeds the hydraulic fluid requirements of pump and system manufacturers.
